The Tower Poetry Society is a registered charitable organization and Canadian members will receive a receipt for tax purposes. The Society offers two types of annual membership:
VOTING MEMBER – has the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting and to hold executive office. Additional benefits include the receipt of two newsletters (Summer and Winter) annually, the opportunity to participate in the Society’s program of public poetry readings and in the annual “ART Walk” collaboration between Carnegie Gallery artists and Tower poets, and listing of personal website on www.towerpoetry.ca. Cost: $20.00/year
SUSTAINING MEMBER – includes all privileges of voting membership, as well as listing of the member’s name in the current issues of TOWER POETRY. Cost: $50.00/year

By taking out a membership, you help to fund the Society, which is entirely self-supporting, so that it may continue to publish the biannual poetry book, TOWER POETRY, and maintain this website. Only members of Tower Poetry Society are eligible to have their publications listed for sale on the TPS website. By taking out a membership, you also assist the Society in fulfilling its main objective: the circulation and encouragement of both new and established poets.
Please note that membership in the Society does not guarantee publication in TOWER POETRY.
Tower Poetry Society Members and Friends can help ensure the work and future of the Society by:
- making a charitable donation at any time
- donating in memory of a loved one or a former TPS member, or in celebration of a special occasion
- remembering the Society through a legacy bequest
