ARCHITECTURE'S STORY

by Joanna Lawson
Ontario, Canada

Among cluttered buildings in old towns
are scattered domes and spires
clustered to remind us of religion's
hold on the people of the past.

Modern symbols adorn sides
of buildings and stretch along street
walls to shout of new religions
golden arches of commercialism.
