Artwalk POETRY and ART

Figure in Studio Interior, by Katherine MacDonald

Model Perspective

by Jean McCallion

Look as you should
but don’t presume
To think you really know me:

Legs astride
twin pillars
anchor my seated body

Ponderous
primeval
my pose elemental

My skin aglow
clothed luminous
in the rose-draped studio

My eyes downcast
my dark hair
cascading downward . . .

Like a Mardi Gras surprise
naked has its own disguise . . .
