We are looking for: concrete images, a visual shape, rhythm and sound that all enhance a message, often an abstract idea. A superb poem is formed from just the right words. Words that need to be there. Each adds clarity to the poem.

The publication itself is a valuable resource, filled with examples of the type of work we select. Copies are available in libraries, or you can subscribe through the mail.

It has been said that every poem should be revised 50 times. Often, when reading submissions, it is felt that the poet would have benefited from attending a workshop.
