50 years of publishing poetry. That's quite an accomplishment! Especially for a small group that started as a poetry workshop with the express goal of publishing, once a year, a little chapbook of members' works.

That little group of 11 has grown over the years and currently the membership of the Tower Poetry Society stands at 45. More importantly, however, the little chapbook has evolved into a 40-page poetry book that is published twice a year and features works from poets around the English-speaking world. TPS regularly receives over 300 submissions annually; poets in Britain, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand, and the United States have become regular contributors, and Canadian poets continue to be well represented.

AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION to TOWER Poetry ensures that you will receive two issues, the Summer edition (June) and the Winter edition (December). Each edition contains at least 40 pages of excellent poetry in English by contributors from around the world, as well as an original cover by a local illustrator.

We also encourage you to take out a "gift subscription" for someone you know who enjoys reading poetry, or for your local school or university library. We will send a note to the person or institution, informing them of your generous gift and when they can expect to receive their copies of TOWER Poetry.

Through your subscription, you help TPS achieve its mandate to promote an interest in the creation of poetry and to publish TOWER Poetry.
